1) The HD format didn't exist in 1997
2) This show was actually Pro-Shot in Standard Definition and this isn't it.
Why would you waste anyone's time with this?

The main thing to remember here is that the whole concert was not available at all except as this rare video amongst traders.
The description on YouTube contains an honest depiction of what the video is (which it says VHS to DVD), and the audio was the soundboard audio.
I exploit HD to provide the highest YouTube quality available, I wouldn't want to watch this any other way, and neither would the other people who enjoy the videos I upload. It is not my fault if people call it HD when it is not . This is VHS at best, but still good for a 1997 recording.
To answer your question 'why would you waste someones time with this?'. This was a concert that Radiohead defined as one of their best, and a lot of people wanted to see it. So the only persons 'time wasted' is your own.
I hope everyone else has enjoyed it .

I watched the entire thing and was mesmerized throughout. The sound quality is all that mattered to me, and that was top notch, mostly. Shame on all you video snobs.

I have tried acquiring the whole show as a pro shot, but the company who recorded it say that Radiohead and/or their record label, would have to release it as a DVD for that to happen.
I'm still going to see where I can get with that, I'd love to watch the whole thing as a pro-shot.

Austin, you're a star.
It said HD on the YouTube title, so I repeated it. All I care about is having a decent video with top sound quality, and you've provided that. Let's hope that RH someday release a DVD of this.
Thanks also for Pinkpop '96, which I just discovered today!!

I've actually had the soundboard bootleg of this since christmas 1997, so my time has not been wasted.
The actual PRO-SHOT footage is on youtube already so, it's cool. You're still wrong

Whose time is being wasted, except Austin's, who has the ability (using a director's YouTube account), time and patience to upload all of these wonderful pearls for the world to enjoy? To me you just sound a bit ungrateful, you know?
Thank you Austin!

Ungrateful?
Is it THAT hard to google "Radiohead Glastonbury 1997 torrent"?
Its not even that great of a show.
Jonny fucks up during "Lucky"...Thom's mike goes dead in "Paranoid Android", there are speakers blowing up, I mean this show was a disaster.
Thom wrote "How To Disappear Completely and Never Be Found" based on how horrified he was about how badly the show went in front of all of those people.
Even the "Live from the 10 Spot" gig was better, and that's an intimate pro-shot gig with "Let Down" on the set-list (although that song in particular is audio only).
